Halogen ovens basically consist of a container to hold your food while it’s cooking – usually a large glass or plastic bowl – and a heat source and fan combined – usually housed in the lid. There are plenty to choose from on the market and you can pick the one that suits you best.
You might want to check out the capacity. If you live alone, or it’s just you and your partner, then one of the smaller halogen ovens will be quite adequately sized to let you prepare a suitable meal – all in one go.
On the other hand, if you have a lot of people to cook for, then you’ll want a larger halogen oven – ideally one which comes with an extender ring. The larger halogen ovens will cope with a large roast turkey, so that should be enough to feed the masses.

User experience is well worth checking. The ratings above are based on the feedback left by Amazon customers. These run from 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent) and are usually based on at least a couple of hundred “votes” – so they should be worthwhile and helpful when you’re choosing a halogen oven.
Costs can vary quite a bit. Amazon is almost always a low cost option (that’s how they got so big I suppose), and there are often discounts and deals on – so it’s well worth checking the price online before you come to a final decision.
If you’re buying your first halogen oven and you haven’t experienced just how good and versatile they are, have a look around this site for some pointers – there are plenty of halogen oven reviews to help you make a smart choice.
