Halogen ovens have many benefits; they cook your food quickly, they save you time and money and they are very versatile. You can cook anything in a halogen oven that you would in a conventional oven – at close to microwave speeds.
As if that wasn’t enough, they are also a much healthier way to prepare your food. You will need a lot less oil – but your food will still have all the flavor that you want. There’s absolutely no need to sacrifice taste in the name of health with a halogen oven.
Unlike conventional ovens, there’s no heat up time with a halogen oven. Meat and poultry will be heated very quickly and will, quite literally, cook in its own juice. There’s no need to use any oil or butter – and excess fat will drip out of the item being cooked.
You can broil lovely, juicy steaks in 10 to 15 minutes (depending upon thickness). Air fry breaded chicken or oven chips – and when it comes to healthy eating, why not try a lovely baked potato. You’ll get a much better taste than a microwave, but faster (and healthier) than a standard oven.
Cooking in a halogen oven is inherently more healthy than cooking in other types of ovens. However, if you want to maximize the benefits available, there are a number of specialized halogen oven recipe books available.
It’s just one more reason for you to give halogen ovens some serious consideration.

In the meantime, here’s a quick video demo of how to steam vegetables using a Nuwave oven. As you can see, it’s very quick and easy to do – and it’s a healthy (but tasty) dish too.
